  • 申請特殊教育鑑定安置後,具有特殊生身分,是不是就會一直被標籤化?
    Once my child is identified as a student with special educational needs will they carry this label for the rest of their life?
    依孩子的能力進步情況,可申請放棄特生資格相關服務,並不會一直被標籤化
    If a child makes better progress than expected, parents may apply for a waiver of the special needs designation and provision of special education services.
  • 大班升小一,是不是可以選我想去的小學?
    Can I choose whatever elementary school I want for my child?
    原則上以就近安置為原則。也就是以學區所在學校為主,
    如果沒有適合的班型,才會安置到他校。
    Special education students at the preschool education stage and the compulsory education stage are placed in a school on the principle of proximity to where they live. If the schools within the school district cannot provide a suitable location to cater for the needs of special education students at the compulsory education stage, the competent authority may arrange placement in another location suitable for special education students.
  • 學前特教班都在教些什麼?
    What do teachers teach in a preschool self-contained class?
    配合幼兒園教保活動課程大綱,包含「身體動作與健康、認知、語文、社會、情緒、美感」六大領域,
    同時參考班上孩子的特殊需求,設定個人IEP目標,並利用每日作息時間,融入IEP目標於活動中,訓練孩子的能力。
    Based on a child’s individual needs, special education teachers develop individual educational goals aligned with six learning areas, "Physical Fitness and Health", “Cognition”, "Language", "Self and Society”, ”Emotions and Feelings”, and "Arts and Creativity", following the ECEC curriculum framework (Taiwan, R.O.C.). These goals will be incorporated into children’s daily class activities.


     
  • 目前學前特教班的師生比是?
    What is the teacher-to-student ratio in a self-contained classroom?
    學前特教班目前是2位特教老師,招收8位學前特殊教育幼兒。
    The teacher-student ratio is 2-8. (2 special education teachers to 8 preschool children with special needs.)

     

     
  • 如果我的孩子念了學前特教班,是不是就要一直念特教班?
    If my child is assigned to a self-contained classroom, is this a permanent placement?
    依照孩子的學習狀況而定,如果學習狀況良好,逐步穩定發展中,有改安置之必要性,在校生可向校內或向鑑輔會提出鑑定安置普通班不分類巡迴輔導服務。
    If your child makes good progress and would benefit from a different educational setting, such as the general classroom with itinerary services, you may request a re-evaluation.


     
  • 我的孩子適合念什麼班型?
    What kind of educational setting is suitable for my child?
    依孩子的學習能力而定,在普通班就讀之融合生,生活自理與團體適應能力相對重要詳細狀況於鑑定安置心評時,與心評老師討論,由心評老師協助判斷。
    如果孩子的在遵從指令和生活自理能力需較多協助,建議於師生比較低的學前特教班就讀
    The ability to adapt to school life and routines is essential for a child who studies in a general classroom.

    A child who has difficulty adapting to school life and routines will benefit more when placed in a self-contained classroom.
    You can discuss this with the Evaluation team.


     
  • 是不是來上學就可以不用去外面上治療課?
    Does my child still need to go to the hospital or clinic to receive therapy after he/she has started school?
    學校主要以融合教育的方式來做教學,有的時候會因人力的緣故較無法以個別的方式做輔導
    每個孩子的學習狀況不同,在外面上治療課較能個別化做教學來提升弱項能力,
    建議除了來上學提升團體生活外,建議依個別需求規劃選擇是否加強復健治療課

    Children spend more time in inclusive settings at school, which means that they learn
    in a group rather than receiving pull-out Instruction. The therapy provided by a hospital
    or clinic is helpful for improving specific abilities. Therefore, parents can choose appropriate
    therapy according to each
    child’s individual needs.


     
  • 學前特教是幾歲開始服務?
    At what age is my child eligible to apply for special education services?
    根據特殊教育法是從2歲就開始服務。3歲以上可安置公幼或非營利幼兒園,但仍以當年缺額為主

    安置順序為
    一、 依年齡順序安置:

    (一) 公立幼兒園及非營利幼兒園普通班:
    1.三至五歲班:依五歲、四歲、三歲順序安置(五歲組幼兒依志願全數安置完成後,再行安置四歲組幼兒,最後安置三歲組幼兒)。
    2.二歲專班:僅安置二足歲未滿三足歲幼兒。
    (二) 公立幼兒園特幼班:依五歲、四歲、三歲、二歲順序安置(五歲組幼兒依志願全數安置完成後,再行安置四歲、三歲組幼兒,最後安置二歲組幼兒)。

    二、 同年齡組競額時依下列順位安置:
    1.低收入戶子女
    2.中低收入戶子女
    3.原住民
    4.特殊境遇家庭子女
    5.中度以上身心障礙者子女
    6.四足歲以上,育有三胎以上子女家庭之幼兒
    7.滿五足歲,父或母一方為外國籍或大陸籍人士之幼兒
    ⭐According to the Special Education Act (Article 23), special education practices shall start as early as 2 years old.
    Children over 3 can be placed in public or non-profit preschools.

    ⭐If there are insufficient places, then priority will be given to children according to the following criteria:

    (1) Priority is given to older children in each age range
    within the following public preschooland non-profit preschool general classrooms
    (E.g. 5-year-olds will be given priority in classes for 3–5 year-olds)
    1. Classes for ages 3-5 years old
    2. Classes for 2-year-olds
    (2) Priority is given to older children in each age range
    within the following public preschool self-contained classrooms
    (E.g. 5-year-olds will be given priority in classes for 3–5 year-olds)


    ⭐When children are of the same age, then priority is given according to the following criteria:
         1. Children of a low-income family
         2. Children of a middle/low-income family
         3. Children from an indigenous family
         4. Children from families in hardship
         5. Children of parents with mild to severe level disability

         6. A 4-year-old from a family with three children
         7. A 5-year-old whose parent is a foreigner or mainlander.

    目前桃園有完整發展聯合評估的醫院衛福部桃園醫院聯新醫院敏盛醫院天晟醫院、楊梅天成醫院長庚醫院(林口桃園)
    The following hospitals in Taoyuan currently offer Joint Evaluation Services for Children:
       1. Taoyuan General Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare
       2. Landseed International Hospital 
       3. Min-Sheng General Hospital 
       4. Ten-Chen Hospital, Zhongli
       5. Ten-Chen Hospital, Yangmei

  • 特殊生申請公幼與一般生申請公幼管道方式?
    To apply for public preschool, what differences are there in the application process for children with or without special educational needs?
    1.特殊生申請公幼需參加本中心之鑑定安置 名額採各幼兒園所特殊生保障名額缺額安置 (並非登記抽籤)
    2.一般生申請公幼需參加桃園市公立及非營利幼兒園招生網登記抽籤

    Children who have been evaluated as having special educational needs will receive their placement
    from the Taoyuan Preschool Special Education Resource Center. Children who do not qualify
    for special education services need to register on the following website:

  • 鑑定安置(特殊生報名公幼)時間
    Timeline for Special Education Needs evaluations
    第二次鑑定安置時程會於11月中~12月初開始申請
    第三次鑑定安置時程會於3月中開始申請
    實際時間以每學年海報為準

     In 2022, you can make a request for a Special Educational Needs evaluation
    ⭐from November 21st to December 6th
    ⭐or from March 13th to March 15th

    Documents required for the Special Needs Evaluation
    1.幼兒2吋照片*1 (正面清晰生活照亦可)
    2.戶口名簿(或實際居住證明文件)影本
    3.28元標準回郵信封*3 (鑑定結果會掛號寄回通知)
    4.相關醫療診斷證明 
    (1)心理衡鑑報告、聯評報告或診斷證明
    (2)身心障礙證明影本 (含正反面)
    (3)若無相關醫療診斷證明   可提供社政單位評估報告(含社工、督導簽章)與桃園市政府學前兒童發展檢核表




    申請報名表需至學前特教中心(東門國小)現場預留半小時至一小時時間填寫資料
          也可自行在家下載簡章先填寫 再親送至學前特教中心(東門國小)確認申請報名表資料

    Documents required for the Special Needs Evaluation 
    1.  1 x 2-inch ID photo of the child
    2.  A copy of the Residence Certificate 
    3.  3 X 28-dollar stamped envelopes
    Please go to the Taoyuan Preschool Special Education Resource Center to obtain the application form and allow yourself 30-60 minutes to fill it out.

    The completed form should be sent to the Taoyuan Preschool Special Education Resource Center.

    Any of the following documents may be used to support your application.
    1. Disability Certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department
    2. Copy of the Medical Diagnosis Records
    3. IC Card or Certificate of Severe Illness issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare
    4. Copy of the Medical Report issued by the Interdisciplinary Assessment Center for Child Development (Joint Evaluation Services for Children)
    5. Evaluation Report issued by the Early Intervention Centers
    6. Observation Report from your child’s preschool teacher

  • 請問幼兒已經拿到醫療證明了還需要鑑定嗎?
    If a child already has a medical certificate, does he/she still need to be evaluated?
    所謂鑑定安置都是教育鑑定 以教育現場需求為主 
    醫院鑑定相關資料為參考資料
    教育鑑定除了特殊障別並不會規定醫療文件為必要文件
    但若無醫療文件  
    填寫清楚特殊教育幼兒家長轉介表之資料
    並具有社政單位評估報告(含社工、督導簽章)
    桃園市政府學前兒童發展檢核表 (依年齡填寫)
    才能觀察出該生是否有需要特教介入的必要性
    所以若有教育需求 還是需要家長依照期程(11月中~12月初)至學前特教中心報名鑑定申請

    Yes. Children who already have a medical certificate still need to be evaluated for their special educational needs.
